Rest Denim is an independent denim brand started in London. The brand is entirely run by myself, and grew out of a love for raw denim, particularly the way it becomes more attractive and personal with wear and my desire to consume and wear things that are ethically made from start to finish.

I use the highest quality selvedge denim and canvas, most is woven in Japan, I also use denim woven by Cone Mills in the U.S.A. and some lighter weight hand loomed fabrics woven by a fair trade Indian co-operative. 

I take the same uncompromising approach to the other materials used to make my products. I use hardware made from solid brass or copper, made in japan and the U.K. Again these materials are desirable for the beautiful way in which they tarnish and age with use.

All Rest Denim products held are sewn with polyester core cotton thread which will age gracefully along with the fabric and hardware, but also provides maximum durability. I use traditional single needle construction techniques, everything is cut and sewn by hand.

All Rest Denim product are sweatshop and cruelty free, and completely vegan friendly.
